For those who are new to the site, and possibly have never heard of Dean, a little bit to get you started. Dean started out his junior hockey career with the Regina Pats before playing with the Edmonton and Kootenay Ice. In 2001 he began his professional career with the ECHL's Charlotte Checkers and has since moved on to play for the Reading Royals, Hartford Wolf Pack, and Hershey Bears. Dean recently signed with the Edmonton Oilers and spent time with their AHL affiliate Springfield Falcons before making his NHL Debut on November 16, 2009 at Columbus.
